QWhat do Chamdahan's red ginseng products taste like?

ARed ginseng has a combination of savory, bitter, sour and astringent tastes. Chamdahan presents premium red ginseng products that contain all the active ingredients and have the rich flavor unique to red ginseng.

QHow often do I have to consume red ginseng to gain the benefits?

ARed ginseng should be consumed on a daily basis for a long period of time. In contrast to medicinal drugs that may have adverse effects on the body after prolonged intake, the longer you consume it, the efficacy of red ginseng lasts longer. For reference, in “Sinnongbonchogyeong,” which classifies medicinal herbs into three categories (High, Medium and Low) depending on their efficacies, ginseng has been classified as a medicinal herb with the highest of the high efficacies. AChamdahan uses red ginseng distributed from Geumsan in Korea, known to have superior efficacy and effectiveness compared to the ginseng produced in other regions. Chamdahan uses ginsengs passed the 245th residual pesticide test.

QCan I consume your products with cold medicine?

ARed ginseng is safer and much less toxic than western medications through chemical synthesis. Red ginseng, on the other hand, is produced from a natural medicinal herb, which can be consumed as food. It has efficacies in strengthening the immune system and facilitating metabolism, while the risk of side effects is low, it is fine to consume it with western medicine such as drugs for headaches, indigestion and the common cold and even with traditional Korean medicine. If you can take the western medicine, traditional Korean medicine, and we recommend take red ginseng product at 1~2-hour intervals. However, if you are receiving treatment for a specific illness, make sure to consult your doctor before consuming our products.

QIs it okay for someone with excess body heat to consume red ginseng?

AIt is commonly believed that people with certain physical constitutions should avoid red ginseng. However, it can be eaten regardless of your constitution in relation to body heat. Your body will produce heat after eating red ginseng. This is not due to a rise in the body temperature though; it is actually due to improved blood circulation, which allows energy to be supplied to all of the body much more quickly. It is an effect of red ginseng that makes your body feel hotter than usual. Thus, anyone can consume red ginseng, regardless of their physical constitution. Red ginseng helps the circulation of blood and flow in the body.

QCan I purchase just the red ginseng powder?

AChamdahan products contain ultra fine red ginseng powder in all products. However, we are not separately offering red ginseng powder.
